Having $270k of funding allows Fala Farms' Functional Go Phase to begin by installing water wells, basic irrigation, fencing for 10 acre hemp crop, buying hemp seed & plant starts, organic fertilizer, soil tilling & cultivation, as well as basic, on-site accommodation for coordinator & farm hands. Thus, planting of initial hemp crop can proceed during first week of June, 2024, allowing the Fala Farms project to progress, cover seasonal labor costs, and retain a $50k cushion.
Having $540k of funding allows the initial phase of the Fala Farms Project to be optimized as stated in the Executive Summary (download at bottom of page). Beyond what has already been mentioned in the Functional Go Phase, this milestone of funding allows Fala Farms to complete the optimization of infrastructure, including; septic & irrigation upgrades, a pole barn & communal kitchen, greenhouses & harvest sheds, a sturdy well house, and permanent cabin dwellings for farmhands.
$9M in funds makes possible a fully Manifested, Self-sufficient, Homesteading Community of 9 fully optimized Farms owned & operated by individuals & families who are graduates of The Fala Farms Reclamation Project, as well as others. There will also be a large acreage reserved for the creation of a Community Commons in which essential goods and services can be offered in a Traditional Cooperative Structure, similar to the Hutterites, Mennonites, Amish, Celts, Chassidim, Bedouin & others ...
The Homesteading Commons will include...
